Overview

Inclusion offers the service at Pharmacies throughout the Isle of Wight without restriction. Service users have free choice of which pharmacy they visit.

If a pharmacy does not have a contract in place they can approach Inclusion at any time and a contract will be issued. The provider requirements are standard for the day to day operation of any pharmacy including presence of a qualified pharmacist on site

Provision of supervised consumption of naloxone and/or Needle exchange services in the Isle Of Wight. This is carried out by a suitably trained and qualified pharmacist within a community pharmacy setting.

An award has been made following direct award process B, the lifetime value of this contract is estimated to be £66,666.66, however as service users have free choice of which pharmacy they visit in the area it is not possible to project an accurate contract value. This contract is active from 1st April 2026 to 31st July 2027. This is an existing service and the providers are likely to be both existing and new.
