Hire, Installation and Support of Temporary Boiler Plant – Turner Hospital

NHS Grampian requires the hire, delivery, positioning, installation, connection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, breakdown support, decommissioning and removal of temporary packaged boiler plant at Turner Hospital, Turner Street, Keith, Banffshire AB55 5DJ. The temporary boiler is required to provide winter heating resilience and shall deliver a minimum nominal thermal output of 205 kW, approximately 700,000 BTU/h.

A dual-fuel natural gas/oil solution is preferred. Where a suitable dual-fuel boiler cannot be provided, tenderers may propose a natural-gas-fired or oil-fired alternative, provided the proposed solution satisfies the minimum thermal duty and all requirements of the tender specification.

The successful Contractor will be responsible for providing a complete operational temporary boiler solution, including mobilisation, temporary hydraulic and fuel connections, electrical connections, controls, flue arrangements, testing and commissioning, planned maintenance, breakdown support and eventual decommissioning and removal. A mandatory pre-installation site survey will be required following contract award to verify all site and system interfaces before mobilisation.
