South Tyneside Council on behalf of The North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) is looking to conduct a procurement exercise which will result in the renewal of an existing Framework for the Provision of Workwear and PPE. The Framework will be available for use by all NEPO Authorities and Associate Members. At this stage in the process there is firm commitment from the following NEPO Authorities (this may change between now and tender publication):
- Durham County Council
- Gateshead Council
- Hartlepool Borough Council
- Middlesbrough Borough Council
- North Tyneside Council
- Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council
- South Tyneside Council
- Stockton Borough Council
- Sunderland City Council
This Framework is likely to cover the supply and delivery of work wear, uniforms and personal protection equipment (PPE) including Safety Footwear.
The potential Framework will be for a maximum of four years in total.
To support the renewal process we would like to gain information from the market across a number of areas related to the upcoming procurement process through completion of a soft market testing questionnaire.
