Overview

Chelmsford College is seeking to subcontract £150,000 of its non-devolved Adult Skills Fund (ASF) allocation to expand and enhance its adult education provision across Essex. This initiative aims to collaborate with experienced training providers capable of delivering high-quality, DfE compliant adult learning programmes that align with local skills needs and community priorities

Key points

  • Excellence in teaching and learning
  • Innovation in how we work and develop.
  • Ambition for all in the College community to be the best we can be.
  • Respect and support for every individual.
  • Fairness and equity in all our undertakings
  • Outward looking in our development Any providers awarded a subcontract will meet one of more of our reasons for subcontracting, namely that it;
  • enhances the opportunities available for learners
  • fills gaps in niche or expert provision or provides better access to training facilities
  • supports better geographical access for learners
  • offers an entry point for disadvantaged groups
  • gives consideration of the impact on individuals with shared protected characteristics, where there might otherwise be gaps
