Overview
A four year framework (2 years plus 2 option years) for The Supply of Fire Fighting Equipment and Associated Spares. The range will be split into 4 lots as follows- 1) 10 Fire Extinguishers including Foam, Water, Dry Powder, CO2 and Wet Chemical.
This lot also contains spare parts for each of these. 2) 2 Specialist Fire Extinguishers including spare parts 3) Fire Fighting Equipment - This contains 17 items including but not limited to Fire Buckets, Fire Blankets and Rescue Knives. 4) 7 Mannequins for Training Purposes. The Contracting Authority intends to award 1 Agreement per lot.
Prices are requested for the first 2 years. Years 3 & 4 are option years which will be negotiated with the winning bidder prior to the year commencement.
Eligibility & compliance
Suppliers need to be registered for LSL eSourcing via the above self-registration link to be able to participate in any procurement activity run by Leidos Supply, Ltd. First time supplier registrants will be automatically given access to the above procurement documents once the registration application is approved.

All prices submitted must be firm (non-variable) ex-VAT inclusive of delivery. The estimated value is based on the estimated total value over 4 years.
Additional information: Leidos Supply Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos Europe Ltd, is undertaking this procurement as a body governed by public law and as a subcontractor to Leidos Europe Ltd to meet a requirement of the UK Ministry of Defence pursuant to the Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation Delivery Partner Contract (LCS(T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) between Leidos Europe Ltd and the UK Ministry of Defence. Leidos considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
Any selection of tenderers, however, will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. From 2.4.2014 the Government introduced its new Government Security Classifications Policy (GSC) to replace the current Government Protective Marking Scheme.
A key aspect of this is the reduction in the number of security classifications used. All Potential Commodity Suppliers are encouraged to make themselves aware of the changes as it may impact on this Requirement.
