The proposed works can be summarised as follows
- Replacement and repairs to the existing Auditorium structural steel frame;
- Masonry works required to accommodate the above;
- Steelwork and associated masonry repairs to the North Elevation;
- Making good existing construction disturbed;
- Installation of new cladding system to the Auditorium South Elevation;
- Repair and re-fixing of existing gutters to the Auditorium (North & South sides)
- External decorations to Auditorium North and South Elevations;
- Removal of existing load-bearing scaffolding (specialist contractor);
- Removal of temporary prop installation to Auditorium Circle;
- Internal decorations to North and South external walls and underside of Circle;
- Removal of existing site hoarding and making good hard-surfaced areas disturbed.
The tendered works will require the temporary adjustment of scaffolding to facilitate the proposed works.
