Additional details
In line with the St Helens Health and Wellbeing Strategy and St Helens Plan In recent years, St Helens Council and key partners such as the Clinical Commissioning Group, have made significant investment in high quality, modern, recovery orientated alcohol treatment services to ensure that there are options for local people to break free from drink and drug related harm; this involves not only addressing the drinking behaviour but also addressing the underlying causes of alcohol and drug misuse. Whilst there has been considerable success to date, there is still a long way to go and our goal is now to reach out to communities and engage at scale and pace; reaching those who could benefit from support but who may be reluctant to approach a service.
The service will seek to prevent further harm, provide systems leadership and address the wider determinants of health. Additional information: For further instructions please visit - https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ For further instructions please visit - https://www.the-chest.org.uk/
