Overview
This contract is for Works and Supplies to construct a bespoke play area on Southampton Common. The current play area is c15 years old and has reached the end of its useful life and is overly expensive to maintain both in terms of manpower and cost.
This contract comprises of the following specific elements: • Build (Ground works, infrastructure); • Installation (installation of play equipment assets); The commencement of this contract is subject to approval of Section 38 Commons Act 2006. The Council undertakes to use reasonable endeavours to hold confidential any information provided in the proposal submitted, subject to the Council's obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
If the applicant considers that any of the information submitted in the proposal should not be disclosed because of its sensitivity then this should be stated with the reason for considering it sensitive. The Council will then consider the sensitivity statement before replying to any request received under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Any enquiries regarding the tender process must be directed through the Curtis Fitch Messaging System.
