SEND Alternative Provision Register

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for SEND Alternative Provision Register. Hampshire County Council wishes to establish a register for the provision of additional education and supportive services commissioned by Hampshire County Council to pupils in Hampshire who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

EHCP's are for those children (0-16) or young people (16-19) or adults (19-25) with special educational needs who require support beyond that which an educational setting can provide for Children and Young People on SEN support. The service's primary function is to fulfil the Authority's statutory obligation under the Children & Families Act and SEND Regulations (2014) to assess, meet and review the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), through engagement with families and support professionals.

The Framework will commence on 1st September 2025 and will be for a period of four years with the option to extend for a further eight years. From 24th April 2025 onwards, an application can be submitted at anytime up until 31st August 2037 - subject to satisfactory reviews.
