Overview
Warwickshire County Council is looking for the provision of clothing, shoes and textiles reuse/recycling service which will include all of the following elements: a) the provision of appropriate Containers at 8 Collection Points/HWRCs, b) the collection and onward transportation of Goods from 8 Collection Points/HWRCs, and c) the reuse and/or recycling of the Goods Clothing, shoes and textiles are currently collected in secure banks. As an incentive for residents to donate at HWRCs, 10% of the authority’s net income will be forwarded to the charity, Guide Dogs.
Contract term: 12 months with an option to extend by a further 12 month period (to a maximum of 2 years). Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process.
