Overview
ENGIE Services Ltd on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council (NELC) are seeking to engage the services of a Commercial Energy Assessor for the provision of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and Recommendation Reports (RR). The successful contractor must be competent and suitably accredited Commercial Energy Assessor who is able to deliver the services identified in the specification in accordance with the Energy Performance of Building Regulations 2012.
The Authority is looking to have EPCs and RR completed for its entire property portfolio which equates to 450 properties. This will be completed through a rolling programme over a five year period.
The programme will be prioritised on those commercial properties which require to be leased to new tenants and or existing leases renegotiated. The aim is to use the EPC and RR to inform on improvements which can be introduced to each property to improve the energy efficiency and the EPC rating, ideally achieving the highest rating to meet future targets which will be introduced for non-domestic properties under the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).
