Overview
The Authority is now seeking a consultant to deliver the contents of the Activity and Interpretation Plans, to enable us to achieve the aims and objectives of the Window to 1913 project, our ambitions as a Heritage Place and our contribution to the investment principles in The National Lottery Heritage Fund's Heritage 2033 strategy. The Authority expects to receive a decision on the delivery phase grant application during October 2026, with permission to start expected in November 2026.
Specialist consultants to undertake work during the delivery phase, including this appointment, are being tendered for in advance of permission to start due to the tight timescales for completion of the delivery phase. This is due to the timetable for capital works and tenant occupation of much of the ground floor from July 2027.
This contract will be delivered by the successful consultant following Permission to Start from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. It is expected that delivery will be between 2nd November 2026 and 30th December 2027.
