Overview
A Professional Services Framework to assist officers in their work of providing a capital works and building maintenance service to schools. The framework is intended to provide a contingent professional advice service should funding should be available from e.g. the Department for Education for school capital works.
The framework is to provide a top up capacity to the work of officers and so is optional expenditure. Suppliers will have to re- price every year in a competitive environment to keep prices sharp.
The option of not procuring this framework does not exist as there is insufficient officer resource to deliver the entire programme in- house. Demand is too uncertain for the Council to commit to a long- term service contract.

- Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
