**NOTE this is not an above threshold exercise but is a notice to highlight this tender is live on eSourcing NI** The contract is for the provision of Annadale Embankment Open Space. • The project comprises the regeneration of an underutilised open space at Annadale Embankment, South Belfast, into a shared community facility that supports cross-community and multi-cultural integration. • The proposed works include the construction of a play park, small basketball area, men’s shed facility including WC, communal/event space, landscaping, car parking, drainage infrastructure, a 3G 5-a-side football pitch, perimeter fencing, lighting, associated site services and all ancillary works necessary to deliver a fully operational facility. • The project is being delivered by Belfast City Council and is part-funded through the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The development will transform the former bonfire site into a high-quality shared community asset that provides recreational, social and wellbeing benefits for local residents and community organisations. • The project includes statutory and technical requirements, including planning conditions, utility connections, drainage approvals, required environmental measures and ground contamination related remedial works.

The successful Contractor will be required to work collaboratively with the Contracting Authority, Integrated Consultant Team and relevant statutory authorities to ensure the efficient delivery of the works. • The Contracting Authority is seeking suitably experienced contractors with demonstrable expertise in the delivery of public realm, parks, recreation, sports, landscaping and community infrastructure projects of a similar scale and complexity. • The works are to be delivered within a live community setting and require ongoing engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, including community organisations, residents’ groups and funding bodies. The successful supplier will be expected to demonstrate the capability, capacity and experience necessary to manage these interfaces and deliver the project within the required programme and budget constraints.
