Overview

The Pathway Strategy Alternative Provision Bespoke Framework (Tier 4) and the Providers entered on it, is a list of approved providers of individualised targeted Provision and forms one of the interventions provided to children and young people through Dudley’s Pathway Strategy who have been identified by a mainstream school as being at risk of high suspensions and/or exclusion. The Alternative Education Provision is also 6th day provision for children and young people who have been permanently excluded from school.

Working together with our providers to meet the outcomes for our young people to support engagement with learning with the right support, right place and right time. Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council wishes to find qualified providers that will be able to provide places that will support the young people who may have a high number of suspensions and in some cases face permanent exclusion. The providers will be considered and checked and placed on a directory known as a Pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System – or a PDPS – This means that Dudley will follow all legal rules of the Procurement Regulations 2015.
