Overview

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board intends to award a contract to a provider under the Most Suitable Provider Process for the provision of Pathology Testing Services for HFE Genes including extraction This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to Award Notice.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) intends to to award a contract under the Most Suitable Provider Process under The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025 for the provision of outsourced pathology testing services for HFE genes, including sample extraction. In accordance with the Most Suitable Provider Process, the Contracting Authority has considered which providers are capable of delivering the service and, having regard to the key criteria and all relevant information available at this time, considers that it has identified the most suitable provider to deliver the requirement.

The Contracting Authority intends to award a single contract to the most suitable provider. This Intention to Award Notice will be published for a period of at least 8 days.
