P26-0046 Scottish Enterprise Research Databases

Scottish Enterprise have a requirement to procure a range of market research and company information databases to support core delivery of research services to Scottish companies. There will be 9 lots with one supplier appointed per lot.

Scottish Enterprise requires a UK company analysis database that can be used to access company reports, company accounts, annual returns and other filed documents. We require unlimited distribution rights for our internal staff and reasonable distribution rights that allow company reports and filed documents to be shared with external customers.

Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Note re contract value and duration - this contract will be for a 1+1+1+1 duration.

We provide reports and insights from this global intelligence research database to our internal customers, including Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), South of Scotland Enterprise (SoSE), SDI (Scottish Development International) & BG (Business Gateway), and external customers (Scottish companies). The solution should enable Scottish companies across all sectors to: - Identify and monitor opportunities in research & development, manufacturing and the wider supply chain for Critical Technologies as defined by Scottish Enterprise (the following 4 sectors are well represented in Scotland; Photonics, Quantum, Semiconductors and Connectivity and Sensing) - Identify and monitor emerging and disruptive technologies that could impact their markets and business models. - Understand global trends, market dynamics, and innovation pathways to inform strategic decisions. - Recognise opportunities and risks early to support continuous innovation and enhance global competitiveness.
