Overview

Murphy & Sons invites expressions of interest from experienced civil engineering subcontractors for inclusion on a framework of regional lots across England, supporting major infrastructure programmes. The framework will provide call off opportunities aligned to regional delivery teams and project locations.

Eligibility & compliance

Project Portfolio Includes: Network Rail CP7 TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Peel Ports Other rail and infrastructure projects across England Scope of Services: The framework will cover the provision of rope access and de vegetation services, including: Rope Access Operations (IRATA) Provision of IRATA certified rope access technicians for work at height Access to difficult or restricted locations where traditional access methods are not feasible Support for inspection, maintenance and minor repair works on structures and assets Safe execution of works on bridges, embankments, retaining structures, cuttings and infrastructure assets De vegetation & Vegetation Management Clearance of vegetation from infrastructure corridors, including rail, highways and construction sites Removal of trees, shrubs, invasive species and overgrowth Maintenance of sightlines, access routes and safety critical areas Vegetation management in environmentally sensitive or restricted locations Specialist Access & Working at Height Rope access for steep slopes, confined spaces and difficult terrain Support works in live and operational environments with minimal disruption Integration with other works such as inspections, surveys and maintenance Environmental & Arboricultural Support Compliance with environmental constraints and ecological requirements Controlled removal and disposal of vegetation and arisings Working in accordance with relevant environmental regulations and permits Emergency & Reactive Services Rapid response for emergency vegetation clearance (e.g. storm damage, fallen trees, access obstruction) Urgent rope access interventions for safety or operational requirements How to Apply: Suppliers must express interest through CompeteFor to receive further tender information, including lot structure and next steps.
