Full Description
We require expressions of interest ONLY from companies able to meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Dedicated 24 hour internet/telephone call out scheme.
- Provide dedicated leadership during an emergency with suitably qualified personnel.
- Have a established and compliant core of fully trained mines rescue personnel.
- Have a core of full time mines rescue instructors on hand.
- Have sufficient back up teams available in an emergency.
- Have ample supplies of Drager BG4 breathing apparatus, resuscitators, stretchers etc.
- Have dedicated equipment maintenance personnel, rescue instructors, first aid and training instructors.
- Have the ability to get a fully equipped mines rescue team to Big Pit within 1 hour of an incident being notified.
- Have sufficient instructors available to train/mentor the Big Pit rescue team in live practise sessions.
- Be accredited with MPQC to carry out NVQ Level 2 Mines Rescue Brigades man qualification.
