Overview
North East Lincolnshire Council (NELC) is seeking applications from suitably experienced, and qualified event organisers to co-ordinate, plan, manage and deliver a daytime event for Cleethorpes town centre with the theme being ‘Love Your Town’. The date for this event is to be held during February 2027.
Please note that separate events will also be held for Immingham and Grimsby and therefore some liaison regarding dates for all three events will be required to avoid any clashes. NELC is seeking to appoint an independent event organiser to deliver ‘Love Cleethorpes’ on our behalf in February 2027. This town centre event should feature family fun activities, live music, and entertainment etc. Specifically, the aims of the provider are to: • Encourage footfall into Cleethorpes town centre during a time when typically, footfall is low and the slowest period for retail as consumers recover from Christmas spending. • Be a great family day out with free activities to participate in. • Deliver content which showcases local talent as well as regional and potentially national performers. • Showcase local retailers and traders including food and hospitality businesses. • Deliver a market selling food, drinks, crafts, and products from primarily local providers. • Bring collaboration between retailers, hospitality businesses, educational establishments, and community groups.
