Overview
Market Engagement/Soft Market Testing For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition this is to initiate a Market Engagement/Soft Market Testing process. Staffordshire County Council and Partners are seeking to recommission the current Carers Home/Community Based Respite provision which will expire on the 31st March 2020.
The purpose of the service is to provide relief to carers in their own home, usually on a regular basis as part of a planned service package. The service is delivered to the person being cared for, though it is intended to provide respite to the carer.
The service may be provided in the home or within the wider community. The service may be delivered in the presence of the carer, if this is the assessed need.
