Overview
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking to establish a Framework with reputable, suitably experienced and qualified organisations or groups of organisations to provide an innovative, creative and flexible programme of day activities for adults with learning disabilities, including those with complex healthcare needs. This is to give advance notice to potential suppliers that may be interested in discussing with the team the requirements and applying for this future contract opportunity.
This must include indoor and outdoor activities and consist of activities which develop cognition, social skills, life skills, employability and physical and mental health. The programme must include participation in community activities; it must not consist solely of activities delivered in one centre in which all participants have learning disability.
This includes provision of support to people individually or in groups to enable them to participate in activities and support for adaptations by mainstream community activity providers to enable them to include adults with learning disability. This provision includes indoor and outdoor activities which develop cognition, social skills, life skills, employability and physical and mental health.
