Overview
The University of Leeds ambition is to develop a technology park within the Leeds City Region, to provide facilities for research into High Speed Train Infrastructure and Equipment, a Centre for Infrastructure Materials research and flexible expansion plots to allow rationalisation of the existing city centre campus as necessary, and offer additional space for constrained research projects to expand. Vacated sites within the City Centre Campus can then be redeveloped for the benefit of the University, as part of a wider University Estate Masterplan.
The Planning Consultant will work collaboratively with University staff and the other Consultants and Contractors directly appointed by the Employer. For the avoidance of doubt, any references made within University documentation to Project Manager shall also mean Project Technical Offer and or the Contract Administrator/Employers Agent dependent upon the form of Main Contract utilised.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
