Overview
Birmingham City Council is undertaking early market engagement activities to inform its procurement strategy to source a supplier to deliver a Hackney Carriage Rental Scheme. The event will operate from Friday 9th October until Friday 23rd October 2020.
The Council has secured funding as part of a wider package of financial support for the Birmingham taxi community for the purchase of vehicles and is seeking input from a number of potential operators of the rental scheme to shape its outline service specification. The aim of the market engagement event is to understand the deliverability of the scheme based on a draft set of service requirements which will be made available to suppliers who wish to register their interest in the exercise.
Suppliers will be required to review a draft set of service requirements and meet virtually with the Council to discuss their feedback. Virtual meetings will take place from week commencing 12th October until Friday 30th October 2020.
