Overview
Provision of designing, delivering, and analysing three further waves (waves 3 to 5) of the Adult Social Care Workforce Survey. DHSC are seeking to procure a contractor for waves 3-5 of the Adult Social Care Workforce Survey, to take place in (calendar years) 2026, 2027 and 2028.
These waves will continue to gather vital perspectives from a fragmented workforce, generating nationally representative, worker-level findings not captured in other existing datasets. The surveys are expected to cover wellbeing, work-related quality of life, intention to leave, learning and development, bullying, violence and harassment, as well as potentially incorporating new questions based on Government priorities.
The data will inform a range of current and future policy areas, strengthening the evidence base for reform, improving understanding of workforce pressures, and supporting the Government’s wider ambition of building towards a National Care Service. Waves 3-5 will also build on the first two waves to develop a time series, which will help the sector and Government to understand changes in workforce experience over time, and evaluate the impact of interventions or events that may affect this.
