Overview
Grant funding to provide support to recent and non-recent victims and survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA). Additional information: DescriptionThe Home Office is seeking to award grant funding to non-statutory sector organisations in England and Wales working nationally to provide support to recent and non-recent victims and survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA).The Ministry of Justice provides funding to voluntary sector organisations supporting victims of CSA through a combination of national commissioning of rape support services and through ?4.7m provided to Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) to commission support for victims of CSA victims and survivors based on local need.
The Ministry of Justice also allocates funding to the Home Office to support national organisations who would have difficulty applying to a single PCC for funding - the Support for Victims and Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse Fund (SVSCSA). Organisations wishing to apply must operate over a large geographic area, which must, as a minimum, be 3 PCC areas.
While there will not be a formal cap placed on the amount an organisation can bid for, we expect all bids to be scalable. To ensure diversity of funding, please be aware that we may scale back top scoring bids in line with the scalability details provided.
Eligibility & compliance
All bids to the SVSCSA must be for one year only, and bidders must be able to demonstrate the ability to spend their entire potential award by the end of the 2019/20 financial year.
