Supply of Daily Living Equipment (DLE) for the use in the Community within South Tyneside Borough
Provision of Items designed specifically for individuals with a disability or elderly people that require assistance with every day routine tasks such as –
- Bathing
- Toileting
- Personal Care
- Household
- Adapting Furniture
- Mobility
- Access & Egress
Provision of equipment is essential to overcome or assist the individual with a particular activity or function that is completed on a regular basis making these everyday tasks easier to do, while promoting the individuals Health & Wellbeing and giving them some independence and dignity.”
The contract will be split into17 Lots
- Lot 1 - Bathing Estimated annual value £17K
- Lot 2 - Toileting Estimated annual value. £24K
- Lot 3 - Personal Care Estimated annual value £400
- Lot 4 - Household estimated annual value £26K
- Lot 5 - Furniture raising estimated annual value £12K
- Lot 6 - Trolley walkers estimated annual value £13K
- Lot 7 - Mobility estimated annual value £10k
- Lot 8 - Ramping estimated value £12K
- Lot 9 - Sensory estimated value 4K
- Lot 10 - Movement Sensory estimated value £3K
- Lot 11 - Suction Pump estimated value £3K
- Lot 12 - Nebuliser estimated value £6K
- Lot 13 - Access estimated value £14K
- Lot 14 - Positioning estimated value £4K
- Lot 15 - Nursing estimated value £15K
- Lot 16 - Bidet estimated value £4K
- Lot 17 - Poles and Rails estimated value £4K
Suppliers can submit a tender for one or all Lots. The anticipation is to award a supplier for each Lot or the same supplier for a number of Lots.
You must be able to deliver the Lot or Lots in full.
The contract will be drawn down by way of purchase order. There is no guarantee of Business however South Tyneside Council anticipate the range of value for all Lots to be in the region of: £200K per annum.
