The majority of patients requiring community rehabilitation are the frail elderly population who require additional support to recover and rehabilitate from illness or injury. Other patient cohorts will be accepted where their rehabilitation needs require a bedded facility which cannot be supported in the community with appropriate community rehabilitation services.

This procurement is being carried out as an accelerated open procedure due to the tight timescales and implications for clinical care if the contract is not in place by 22/10/2018.
