Overview
Council teams and young people are operating in an increasingly complex environment, shaped by changing pressures, evolving priorities and community needs. There is a recognised need to create opportunities that strengthen relationships, encourage reflection and support people to feel valued, heard and empowered.
We wish to invest in values-based leadership experiences that support both staff teams and young people to connect with their values, recognise the strengths and experiences they each bring and build trust, confidence and resilience through shared learning experiences. For staff, this work should support reflective leadership, strengthen relationships across teams and encourage confidence in challenging systems and processes that no longer reflect lived experience or community need. For young people, this should include residential experiences which create opportunities for personal growth, connection and leadership development, helping young people build confidence, develop their voice and recognise their potential to contribute positively within their communities Additional information: Funding is only guaranteed until April 2027 all other yearly contracted services are subject to satisfactory funding
