Overview
Essex County Council (ECC) is seeking a Supplier to support and maintain its Disk and Media encryption service for a one year period with an option to extend by up to a further one year. ECC uses a mix of Desktop Computers, Laptops and Tablets.
All devices require media encryption solutions. All laptops and tablets require full hard disk encryption.
A hardware refresh programme has been completed. A second phase to refresh our remaining HP computers with Dell replacements is underway.
Eligibility & compliance
Support and Maintenance is required for the entire estate as follows: • 3,000 Total Endpoint Security perpetual licences • 3,000 Media Encryption/Port Protection perpetual licences • 3,628 Total Endpoint Security annual subscription licences • 9,000 Containers Additional information: Potential Tenderers must contact ECC to request to be invited to this tender round by following these instructions: 1.

The refresh programme resulted in an estate of approximately 9,150 devices, 6,628 of which are notebooks (including laptops, tablets and other mobile devices).
