Overview
Leicester City Council (the Authority) are seeking to pre-engage with the supported living provider market and share its initial draft proposals around the future purchasing of supported living services in the city of Leicester. The Authority will use the feedback and responses from the market engagement events to help finalise its delivery models and specifications.
Therefore, at this stage, the market engagement events are not part of any formal procurement process and therefore is not a call for competition. The formal procurement process is anticipated to commence later in 2019.
Participation or non-participation in the market engagement events will not prevent any provider from participating in any future procurement process, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of these discussions will place any provider at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Supported living services relate to the provision of both care and housing related support.
