Fabrication, Installation and Equipment Integration for Flavoured Butter Production Line

Requirement

Gower View Foods Ltd seeks quotations for the fabrication, installation, modification, and integration works required to install new flavoured butter processing equipment within an existing production area.

Scope of Works

The successful supplier shall provide all labour, materials, fabrication, and installation services necessary to position, modify, and integrate the equipment into a fully operational production line.

• Equipment Offloading and Positioning
• Offloading of customer-supplied equipment upon delivery.
• Safe movement and positioning of equipment within the designated production room.
• Alignment and positioning of all equipment to achieve an efficient product flow and operational layout.
• Equipment Height Modifications
• Assessment of installed equipment levels and interfaces.
• Fabrication and installation of any required supports, stands, frames, or modifications necessary to achieve the correct operating heights.
• Adjustment of machinery elevations to ensure seamless integration between process stages.
• Fabrication of Product Transfer Transitions
• Design, manufacture, and installation of food-grade transition sections between equipment.
• Transitions to provide automatic and continuous product transfer between the bowl chopper and the vacuum extruder.
• Fabrication to be suitable for food production environments and designed to minimise product loss and facilitate cleaning.
• All fabricated components to be constructed from food-grade stainless steel with appropriate finishes.
• Vaccum Discharge Modification
• Design and fabrication of a stainless-steel divert plate at the discharge of the Vacuum extruder.
• Divert plate to control and guide the cylindrical flavoured butter product as it exits the extruder.
• Arrangement to align and present product portions consistently onto the downstream outfeed conveyor.
• Design to support reliable and repeatable product positioning whilst maintaining product integrity.
• Installation and Commissioning
• Mechanical installation of all fabricated components.
• Final alignment and adjustment of equipment interfaces.
• Operational testing to confirm satisfactory product transfer throughout the production line.
• Commissioning support to ensure all fabricated elements perform as intended.

Technical Requirements

• All fabricated items shall be manufactured from food-grade stainless steel suitable for use in a dairy food production environment.
• Fabrication and installation shall comply with applicable food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Welds and finishes shall be suitable for wash-down and routine cleaning operations.
• Equipment modifications shall not adversely affect the operation, safety, or maintainability of existing machinery.

Quotation Requirements Suppliers shall provide

• A detailed description of the proposed fabrication and installation works.
• Any assumptions made regarding equipment dimensions or site conditions.
• Lead time for manufacture and installation.
• Total cost including labour, materials, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Details of any warranty offered on fabricated components and workmanship.
