Overview
Bristol City Council (BCC) wishes to appoint multiple suppliers to an open framework for various social care functions and placements - a Single Framework for Adult Social Care (ASC).It is Bristol City Council’s intention to let an open framework with a range of different providers and care homes to deliver a wide variety of adult care services and placements, including residential and nursing care. This new framework aims to capture the majority of new Adult Social Care long term care services going forward, including ‘spot’ and ‘block’ purchasing, and will replace all existing ASC frameworks.
The Integrated Care Board will be named in the agreement to allow commissioners from Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) to utilise the Single Framework. BCC Children's Commissioning will also be able to use the framework where appropriate.
