Overview
Milton Keynes City Council is exploring future models for the delivery of accommodation-based support for adults experiencing homelessness, housing instability and multiple disadvantage. The Council wishes to test the market's capacity to deliver an integrated accommodation and progression pathway that combines: • accommodation; • housing management; • intensive person-centred support; • progression planning; • move-on into settled housing; and • tenancy sustainment.
The Council wishes to better understand the market's ability to move beyond traditional accommodation provision or stand-alone support services to inform the future development of a model where accommodation, support and progression are designed and delivered as a single, integrated pathway. The Council considers accommodation to be a key intervention in achieving improved outcomes rather than simply the setting in which support is delivered.
We are keen to hear from providers on the questions given in the market engagement document. The responses to the questions will help the Council in developing the specification and the tender. Please respond to the questions within the attached document by latest 5pm on 2nd September 2026 via In-Tend Correspondence section/market engagement stage.
