Overview
Since 2023, there has been a standalone, integrated Child Weight Management Service in Cambridgeshire, commissioned by Public Health. As the service is soon coming to an end, we intend to go out to procurement for a successive Child Weight Management Service across Cambridgeshire.
The new service will be a 3 step (tier) integrated service, combining universal preventative support with more targeted group and one to one programmes. The service will be delivered both face to face and online across the county, with a proportionate universalism approach used to address key obesity related health inequalities.
The Authority is intending to run a competitive process under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This notice relates to preliminary market engagement for this procurement.
