This is a framework agreement to supply multifunctional devices (like photocopiers and printers), digital transformation solutions, and print design services to UK public sector organisations. It's split into two separate lots, with up to 15 suppliers selected for Lot 1 and up to 20 for Lot 2, and covers schools, hospitals, councils, government departments, and charities across the UK.
Requirements
- You must be able to supply multifunctional devices (photocopiers/printers)
- You must be able to provide associated digital transformation solutions
- You must be able to deliver print and design services
- You must be registered on the MultiQuote supplier portal to bid
- Your business must be capable of servicing public sector clients across the UK
- No specific certifications or qualifications stated in the notice — check full tender documents for ISO standards, security clearances, or equipment specifications
Key Tasks & Deliverables
- Supply and deliver multifunctional devices to public sector organisations across the UK
- Provide maintenance and support services for the devices supplied
- Deliver print and design services as requested by framework users
- Offer digital transformation solutions alongside hardware (exact scope to be detailed in full tender)
- Service the framework for the contract term (duration not specified in this notice)
How to Read This Tender
- 1This is a 'framework agreement' — not a single job. You're bidding to be on an approved supplier list; public sector organisations then call off work from you as they need it. The work isn't guaranteed upfront.
- 2There are two separate Lots — check which one suits your business. Lot 1 has 15 slots, Lot 2 has 20 slots. You can bid for one or both. Read the full tender to understand what differentiates them.
- 3The Crescent Purchasing Consortium members are the main users, but 'all contracting authorities across the UK public sector' can use this — that's a very wide customer base including NHS, councils, schools, and government departments.
- 4You must register on MultiQuote (https://suppliers.multiquote.com) to even see the tender documents and bid. Do this first before spending time on the application.
- 5The notice doesn't specify contract length, pricing structure, or minimum/maximum order values — all critical details will be in the full tender documents. Download and read those carefully before committing time to a bid.
Tips for Small Businesses
- If you're a small business without the full product range, consider partnering with a larger supplier as a subcontractor on this bid. Many winning firms use smaller companies to deliver print design or regional maintenance support.
- This framework will likely be scored on price, service quality, and innovation in digital transformation. Small businesses often score well on 'local support' and 'quick response times' — highlight these if they're genuine strengths.
- Winning a framework slot doesn't mean instant revenue, but it gives you legitimacy to bid for individual call-offs from dozens of public sector organisations. The real work comes after winning — you'll need to actively market yourself to framework users.
