4961/PS/LWM - Student Support and Online Therapy Sessions The University of Sheffield is not a contracting authority for the purposes of the Procurement Act 2023. The University reserves the right from time to time to voluntarily operate under the Procurement Act (as defined above) on a case by case basis.
Otherwise, advertisement of any contract on the Central Digital Platform (CDP) is at the sole discretion of the University and is undertaken on a voluntary basis with no implied obligation to comply with the procurement legislation. For the avoidance of doubt, this procurement is not subject to the Procurement Act (as defined above).
The University intends to appoint a maximum of 4 suppliers to a framework agreement, to provide the following services: 1. To provide online psychological therapy for students, working strictly to a 6 session model.

A typical session would be a maximum 1 hour. 2. To ensure risk is managed by escalating and de-escalating appropriately, and routinely providing discharge summaries with outcome measures to the University Mental Health, Counselling, Therapies and Wellbeing service The initial term for this contract will be 2 years, with the potential for 2 further years in yearly increments subject to supplier performance.
