Rochdale and Stockport Councils want to hire an organisation to deliver cycle training for children and young people across three levels of difficulty, plus specialist training for children with additional needs. The contract runs for 2.5 years from September 2026 to March 2029, and is funded by Active Travel England to get more young people cycling safely.
