WPL06900 - Urology and OMFS Insourcing

The service provides rapid, targeted on-site clinical and surgical interventions for Urology and OMFS patients. By deploying clinical teams over weekends, the Trust drastically reduces elective RTT (Referral to Treatment) backlogs and ensures patients receive care within their familiar local acute trust environment.

Provision of targeted on-site clinical and surgical insourcing services for Urology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS). The supplier deploys clinical teams during weekend sessions to increase elective Referral to Treatment (RTT) capacity and deliver care within the Trust's acute hospital facilities.

Contract Duration and Financial Value Notice Initial Term and Committed Value: Initial 12-week operational delivery period with an estimated value of £513,922.86 (excluding VAT). Following the initial 12-week term, the contract remains live for up to a total of 24 months.

Service activity and associated payments will cease at the end of the initial period unless further distinct phases of activity are agreed in advance by both parties. The maximum potential total value across the full 2-year duration is £4,266,528.55 (excluding VAT).

This figure represents the upper financial limit assuming continuous, full-capacity delivery across the entire 24 months. Outturn spend is expected to be lower than the maximum ceiling, as service utilisation will be episodic and strictly demand-led.

An award has been made via a Direct Award procedure against the NHS SBS 10203 Insourcing of Clinical Services framework. Contract Start Date: 15/08/2026 Contract End Date: 14/08/2028
