Overview
Manchester Day is a one day annual event that celebrates everything great about the city. It is a day for families, residents and visitors to get together and celebrate all things Mancunian that have made Manchester one of the world's most iconic cities.
Usually taking place on the second or third Sunday of June it is Manchester's largest and most high profile community event attracting over 60,000 people and involving between 2,000 to 2,500 participants from between 70 - 90 Manchester charities, community groups and companies. Manchester Day is owned by Manchester City Council (MCC).
Since the first Manchester Day in 2010 MCC have worked in partnership each year with a creative partner to deliver 7 successful events to date. MCC is inviting organisations to tender to be their creative partner in Manchester Day, responsible for the creative development and delivery of the event and the community engagement process required.
