Overview
Derbyshire County Council would like to hear from interested suppliers willing to share information about their approach to providing secure and cost effective ICT Hardware Collection and Disposal Services. A key objective is to send as little waste as possible to landfill and to treat or dispose of all electrical and electronic waste responsibly in compliance with WEEE and Environmental Agency regulations, ethically and to minimise the Council's carbon footprint.
The Council is undertaking Soft Market Testing in the form of a questionnaire, in order to explore the market and help inform the development of its requirements. Suppliers that are interested in responding need to register on the Council's electronic tendering system and download the available documentation by 5.00pm on 5 April 2017.
The solution, when tendered, is expected to be in place for an initial period of 3 years, with options to extend on an annual basis up to a maximum term of 5 years. The contract start and end dates published are indicative only. *SOFT MARKET TESTING EXERCISE*
