Overview
The Authority is seeking tenders for the Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Electronic Bus Stop Display Infrastructure within the County of Nottinghamshire. The Council's detailed requirements are defined in the Specification.
Nottinghamshire County Council (the "Authority" also referred to as the "Council") provides a range of transport services across the County, which are co-ordinated by Nottinghamshire Transport and Travel Services ("NTS") based at Trent Bridge House, Fox Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6BJ. Nottinghamshire County Council has 5000 bus stops and around 5% of these currently have electronic displays installed.
Nottinghamshire has a long-term project plan to fit LED & TFT signs displaying bus real time and scheduled information to a significant number of these bus stops through a rolling installation programme. Over the next 2 years, as part of the Local Transport Plan, NTS will continue to install bus stop poles for electronic displays at new and existing locations to raise the profile of bus infrastructure to a consistent standard countywide.
