Overview
Step down, Interim and Respite Beds in Peterborough - Soft Market Testing Peterborough City Council (PCC) are seeking additional capacity from the provider market for step down, interim and respite beds from 1 October 2018 for a period up to 6 months. Both national and local providers are encouraged to respond; all beds need to be located within the Peterborough geographic boundary.
The exact numbers of beds being sought is reliant on funding streams being secured by PCC. It is anticipated that all the beds will be contracted via a mixture of spot purchase and block purchase.
Charging proposals should not exceed current provider contractual rates, unless there is a additional level of reablement, care and support or additional factors that can warrant a increase. Providers will also be encouraged to identify innovative processes and solutions, that could enable clients to return home sooner.
