Overview
The Customer Organisation, M-SParc wish to appoint a Supplier to undertake the design and construction of an 800 kW (AC) Solar Farm and BESS system on the landscape near the M-SParc Hub building. Installing solar panels will mean a more efficient means of attaining power to the building offering environmental and commercial benefits.
The site has attained full planning permission and a connection offer from SPEN. The Customer Organisation has identified a number of site-specific challenges associated with the proposed electrical cabling arrangement.
These challenges are reflected within the technical information and Employer's Requirements provided as part of the tender documentation. The Customer Organisation recognises that there may be a number of technically viable approaches to addressing these challenges and is therefore open to alternative solutions proposed by suitably experienced Tenderers.
