Overview
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is procuring an Integrated Sexual Health Service ("ISH") which aims to support all our residents, with the best quality of care to live a healthy sexual and reproductive life, free of discrimination, coercion, exploitation and violence. The Service will be shaped around the needs of the local population with the focus on meeting the needs of those at highest risk of poor access to and outcomes from services.
This Procurement Process falls under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) as set out in Part 2; Regulation 6(7) and 11 of the Health and Social Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The Council will be following The Competitive Process (Regulation 11) under the Provider Selection Regime.

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council intends to enter into ONE Contract for the provision of the Sandwell Integrated Sexual Health Service, proposed contracting arrangements are not limited and, for example, be with one provider, a provider with sub-contracting arrangements or consortia. Any proposed contracting arrangement is subject to the Evaluation Methodology outlined in the Invitation to Tender document(s).
The Sandwell Integrated Sexual Health Service Contract will be for a period of 3 Years from 01 April 2027 to 31 March 2030, with the option to extend, subject to review, for up to a maximum of 2 Years from 01 April 2030 to 31 March 2032. This Procurement Process falls under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) as set out in Part 2; Regulation 6(7) and 11 of the Health and Social Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
The Council will be following The Competitive Process (Regulation 11) under the Provider Selection Regime. Further information about the requirements of the service and the procurement process can be found in the tender pack attached to this project.
