Overview
Hampshire County Council are seeking to procure a psychology service to form part of our wider Rough Sleeping and Housing Support Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service, funded through grant funding from OHID and MHCLG. The psychology team will provide intensive outreach and specialised psychological interventions to individuals who are rough sleeping with the aim of improving their access and outcomes with drug and alcohol treatment.
The objectives are to work with people who are dependent on drugs and/or alcohol to: Improve engagement with people experiencing homelessness Increase treatment access and retention for people who are sleeping rough or at imminent risk of sleeping rough Stabilise individuals and improve wellbeing Deliver psychologically informed and trauma‑informed support Prevent and relieve homelessness. This notice is an intention to award a contract under the most suitable provider process The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £300.000 This is a new service which will become operational on 01 November 2026 for a period of 2 years and 6 months.
