Overview

Leicestershire County Council (LCC) Children and Family Services would like to invite interested providers to a Collaboration Event regarding residential and foster care placements for children in care. LCC's current procurement solution (East Midlands Regional Children's Framework) will end as of 31 January 2020 and there will not be a future consortia approach in the East Midlands.

Therefore, LCC is progressing with a local procurement solution commencing 1 February 2020. LCC are passionate about working with providers to co-design this solution and understand what a collaborative approach could/should look like and address some of the key barriers and challenges that occur with the current approach.

We are committed to developing a systemic approach to providing good quality local provision for local children at the right time. We would like to invite interested providers to the Collaboration Event which is being held on Friday 19th July 2019.
