Full Description
Social Care Wales is undertaking pre-market engagement to inform an upcoming procurement exercise for the delivery of a perception survey of the Welsh public. This work was first carried out in 2018 and has been repeated every two years since.
The anticipated requirement is for an experienced research supplier to design and deliver a representative survey for approximately 1,000 members of the public in Wales.
The objective of the survey is to explore public perceptions, awareness and understanding of social care, childcare, play and early years services in Wales.
Social Care Wales will work collaboratively with the successful supplier to develop and finalise a survey of around 20 questions. The supplier will then be responsible for:
- advising on the most appropriate survey methodology;
- recruiting and engaging a representative sample of 1,000 respondents ;
- administering the survey to an agreed timeline;
- ensuring the survey is available bilingually in Welsh and English;
- implementing appropriate accessibility measures and reasonable adjustments to support participation by individuals with diverse needs and protected characteristics;
- undertaking data analysis and interpretation of findings;
- producing a high-level summary report suitable for senior stakeholders;
- producing a detailed analytical report containing a more comprehensive breakdown of results, demographics and key insights;
- presenting findings to Social Care Wales stakeholders, if required.
The successful supplier must be able to demonstrate how the proposed sample will accurately reflect the population of Wales across relevant demographic characteristics, which may include age, gender, geography, language preference, ethnicity and other relevant socio-economic indicators.
The final scope and specification may be refined following completion of this pre-market engagement exercise.
