Provision of General Dental Services in the Denbighshire area. Provision of NHS General Dental Services within North Denbighshire to improve access to NHS dental care and increase local NHS dental capacity (Reference:BCU GDS-01).
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board undertook an Expression of Interest (EOI) process to identify providers capable of establishing additional NHS dental capacity within the locality. Following completion of the EOI process, shortlisted providers were invited to participate in a Most Suitable Provider (MSP) assessment undertaken in accordance with the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025.
Following assessment against the key criteria of Quality, Value, Collaboration and Service Sustainability, Improving Access and Reducing Health Inequalities, and Social Responsibility, the Health Board identified Cordon Blue Ltd trading as Prestatyn Dental, 198 High Street, Prestatyn, Denbighshire, LL19 9BP, as the provider considered most suitable to deliver the required services.
