Tender for Garage Equipment Service and Repair The Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed Powys is facilitating a tender for garage equipment servicing and repair on behalf of the 4 Welsh Police Services. Suitably qualified service providers are invited to submit a bid through Etenderwales, which is split into Lots according to the Force workshops located across the whole of Wales.
There is an option of three Lots that cover the areas of: Lot 1 Carmarthen Brecon Aberystwyth Newton Haverfordwest Lot 2 Bridgend Cwmbran Lot 3 St Asaph Services providers can bid for whichever lots they wish to, there is no restriction and a maximum of 1 supplier will be awarded on each lot. They shall carry out a six monthly inspection and maintenance of jacking and supporting equipment in accordance with PUWER & LOLER.
The successful provider shall carry out annual onsite load testing of jacking and supporting equipment in accordance with LOLER. The provider shall carry out six monthly calibration check of torque wrenches in accordance with BS6789 and also carry out six monthly calibration check of tyre inflators in accordance with BS12645. Eligibility & compliance
The successful service provider shall carry out six monthly inspection and maintenance of vehicle lifts in accordance with BS7980.
